Pastor Matthew and Pastor Frank will be offering Holy Communion this Sunday, April 26, 10 AM - 1 PM on the HSLC campus. It is of utmost importance that we all honor social distancing and sanitation guidelines. Therefore, if you would like to participate please come in your car and remain seated in your car. There will be volunteers in the parking lot to guide you when you enter. You will drive up to one of two Holy Communion stations and Pastor Matthew or Pastor Frank will offer you communion. The pastors and their assistants will be wearing gloves and masks. They will not touch the Communion elements with their hands. Gluten free wafers will be available upon request. The Communion elements will be placed on a tray and extended to you for you to remove. The tray will be wiped off with a bleach cloth before being used for the next vehicle. Since there could be many vehicles waiting in line, there will likely not be time for the pastors to talk or pray with you personally. If you have prayer requests please email or call them to the HSLC office or to Debby Weeks or to the pastors. If this is a convenient time for you to drop off your offering, there will be a basket available. We encourage you to invite your family and friends to participate in our drive in Holy Communion. If this procedure works effectively then we will be able to offer it again. We hope to see you on Sunday for Holy Communion.
